NEW! AWB elections Web site
Businesses and individuals searching for information on candidates for legislative and statewide office can now visit the new elections Web site launched by the Association of Washington Business. Decision 2008 features candidate information, links to key election sites and video presentations by each of the candidates for statewide office.

Voters all across Washington will soon have the chance to cast their ballots and chart a course for the future of Washington state. From taxes to transportation and education, the choices we make in the 2008 elections will have deep implications for families and businesses alike, said Don Brunell, AWB president.

The first series of featured candidate videos highlight the candidates for governor, Gov. Christine Gregoire and previous challenger Dino Rossi, each answering three questions related to their office.

The videos can be seen at www.awb.org/elections or on AWBs YouTube page at www.youtube.com/awborg. Additional videos will be ready soon by candidates for lieutenant governor, attorney general, insurance commissioner, superintendent of public instruction, lands commissioner, treasurer, auditor and secretary of state.

This Web site is designed to give AWB members quick and easy access to the latest news on the election front as it relates to business. Be sure to look over our 2008 Legislative and Judicial Scorecards. And don't forget to check out our candidate questionnaires, candidate videos and their own individual pages to see their point of view on the issues that matter most to our economy.
